The Orthodox Diocesan Family Center “Seed of Faith” under St. Catherine Cathedral started to function on the blessing of metropolitan of Ekaterinodar and Kuban Isidor in November 2007.
The Seed of Faith is an additional education institution that is dedicated to bringing up children in harmony with the Orthodox faith and developing their creative skills. It is a fellowship of children, their parents, teachers and priests for getting acquainted with the Orthodox family tradition as well as spiritual and liturgical communication.
The Center’s primary task is making joint effort in churching of families. The founder and the head of the Center is Rev. Andrey Kravchenko, a priest of the Holy Trinity Cathedral.

On the present moment the Orthodox Diocesan “Seed of Faith” Family Center numbers over a hundred children from 80 families. Each little family is a part of the Seed of Faith’s large family, which, in its turn, is a part of the Church, united by one spirit, by one joy.
